A metric is not the answer. What athletes and coaches can do with it is what matters.

My work starts with the performance question, not the algorithm: What are we trying to understand, how reliably can we measure it and which decision should become easier?

Sports-science judgement, data analysis and product thinking belong together. That is how measurements become useful tools for daily training.

Jump Performance Analysis

A jump takes seconds. So should the feedback.

At Microgate, I worked on capturing jump performance with GykoPro and explaining it clearly on an iPhone. My master's thesis then validated the test design, signal processing and mobile workflow against OptoJump and a force plate. The analysis is now part of ProMove.

Developed at Microgate, validated in my master's thesis and now used as part of ProMove.

Flywheel training · live feedback

Inertia Showcase

A sensor can measure a lot. That does not mean it explains anything.

In flywheel training, the GykoPro signal has to make sense while the set is still happening. I contributed from the Bluetooth stream through analysis to the native iOS view, making concentric and eccentric phases visible without asking coaches to interpret raw data.

SpinningLab

Training data tells a story. Most apps only show the numbers.

SpinningLab is my functional iOS concept prototype for making training histories easier to understand. Activities, performance development, planning and coaching become one connected context rather than separate charts, using real Strava histories and sports-science models with transparent limits.
